The Chapel on the hill public open day
The public open day of the Chapel on the hill Saturday 5th November 2016 was a great success.
It was great to see lots of people coming along, looking at photographs taken of the community project at different stages.
Members of the public then had the opportunity to just sit with a cup of tea or coffee, enjoying the ambiance, followed by a walk around the outside to admire the superb panoramic views over Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Every one commented on how happy they were with the sympathetic way the work had been carried out for future generations to see, and thanked all those involved.
It just shows you what you can do when the community pulls together on something they believe in.
Special thank you to all the volunteers of the community that helped restore this beautiful Grade II listed building.
